The ACT Extreme Race Rigid 6 Pad Clutch Kit for the 2002–2005 Subaru WRX is engineered for maximum performance in dedicated race applications. The SB9-XTR6 kit features ACT’s Xtreme pressure plate, utilizing an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and extend clutch life through a four-stage heat-treating process and rigid precision cover stampings.

This kit includes a ceramic 6-pad rigid race disc built for extreme heat tolerance and fast, precise shifts. The heat-treated chrome-moly hub delivers added strength and durability, while the lightweight rigid design allows for quicker engagement and improved shift response. ACT’s patented Monoloc release mechanism is also included, providing uniform bearing load, improved alignment, and significantly extended release mechanism life compared to the factory two-piece design.
