The ACT Heavy Duty Race Sprung 6 Pad Clutch Kit for the 2002–2005 Subaru WRX is designed for high-horsepower builds that demand increased torque capacity and durability. The SB9-HDG6 kit features ACT’s Heavy Duty pressure plate, engineered to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and extend clutch life using an exclusive four-stage heat-treating process and rigid precision cover stampings.

This kit includes a ceramic 6-pad, spring-centered race disc that delivers faster shifting and improved heat dissipation while effectively damping torsional vibrations. Reinforced spring retainers and thicker stampings increase strength under extreme conditions. ACT’s patented Monoloc release mechanism is also included, providing improved alignment, uniform bearing load, and significantly longer release mechanism life compared to the factory two-piece design.
