DESCRIPTION

The Blouch Dominator 1.5G2-R Ball Bearing Turbocharger is a stock-location upgrade for WRX/STi owners who want fast response with serious airflow in a bolt-on package. Blouch rates the Dom 1.5G2-R at 520 HP capability and pairs a low-inertia ceramic ball bearing CHRA with a 56.5mm high-flow turbine wheel and a 71mm G2 compressor wheel that supports 52 lb/min of airflow—making it an awesome choice for strong midrange and hard pull up top when paired with the right fuel, supporting mods, and tuning.

You can configure it to match your goals with 8cm or 10cm turbine housing, optional Coated turbine housing, optional 3" inlet compressor housing, and a required oil feed line selection (WRX vs STi). 

WHY

The Dominator 1.5G2-R is ideal if you want a turbo that feels responsive on the street but still has the airflow to support a properly-built, higher-power EJ setup. With a ceramic ball bearing center section and a Gen2 compressor design flowing 52 lb/min, it’s built to deliver quicker transient response and stronger overall efficiency than typical journal-bearing upgrades, while still keeping the factory-style fitment of a stock-location turbo. The ability to choose 8cm vs 10cm housing, plus coating and inlet options, lets you tailor the setup toward earlier response or more top-end breathing depending on your goals and supporting mods.
