DESCRIPTION

The Blouch Dominator 5.0XT-R Full Ball Bearing Turbocharger is Blouch’s top-tier, stock-location bolt-on for Subaru owners chasing maximum power potential from a traditional location setup. Blouch rates the Dom 5.0XT-R at 650 HP capability and builds it around a fully machined billet 65 lb/min “XT-R” compressor wheel, a full ball bearing CHRA, and a high-flow turbine wheel paired with Blouch’s custom 10cm² turbine housing.

Because of the large compressor wheel, this turbo is only built with a 3" inlet bellmouth compressor housing, meaning it requires a 3" turbo inlet. Blouch also strongly recommends an external gate to achieve maximum performance. 

WHY

If your goal is a built-motor STi/WRX setup that’s all about big airflow and top-end power while still keeping a stock-location turbo footprint, the Dominator 5.0XT-R is the “go big” choice in Blouch’s lineup. The full ball bearing center section is designed to improve response and durability under aggressive use, while the 65 lb/min XT-R compressor and 10cm² turbine housing are aimed at moving the volume of air you need for serious power. Just keep in mind this is a large-frame stock-location turbo that’s designed around a 3" inlet and is best paired with an external wastegate for control and performance.
