The IDoing head unit is a full plug and play solution that features a 9" display. It is a great way to add Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to any 2015-2021 Subaru WRX/STI. Apple Carplay and Android Auto are also now made wireless! This is the only unit on the market currently that will include everything necessary for the installation (it even includes necessary tools)! 

All OEM features are retained such as the steering wheel controls and backup camera. 2015 Subaru WRX and STI owners can now project their backup camera onto the radio screen instead of the top instrument panel display with the included harness! 

The head unit comes with the Google Play Store pre-downloaded so apps like YouTube, Clash of Clans, Amazon Prime Video are available to be played/watched on the head unit.

There are tons of audio settings to mess around with and the head unit is compatible with aftermarket subwoofers, speakers, amplifiers, etc. An IDoing head unit is recommended for all Subaru's with aftermarket audio upgrades because the OEM radio is not built to handle the improved performance. I definitely couldn’t recommend this screen enough! The stock head unit comes with a lot of problems and either stops working or makes your speakers really quiet due to lack of power. The IDOING alone with whatever speakers you run amplifies it 10x fold, alottt of adjustability for EQ settings making it crystal clear, and cool features like being able to watch YouTube/netflix, also has Apple car play! Only plug n play head unit on the market so it’s super easy to get to work, just tuck the wires and you are good to go! My only gripe is the stock plastic trim looks cheap imo, I wrapped mine in a gloss black to look OEM+ and it looks way better in my honest opinion but to each their own :)

IDoing 2016 WRX

The unit was straight forward and easy to install. I can confirm the fitment is spot-on; I started at the bottom, worked the middle, and finished on the top. The factory camera still works. While the factory mic also still works, I find myself using the IDoing's mic, which is much clearer and now hands-free with Siri. The wireless Apple Play is fantastic. The IDoing comes with two settings for the screen's brightness; one for day and one for night (or when the headlights are activated). After installing aftermarket speakers all around, subs, and amp, the sound is amazing.
