The SB9-HDR4 kit features ACT’s proven Heavy Duty pressure plate, engineered to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and extend clutch life through an exclusive four-stage heat-treating process and rigid precision cover stampings.

This kit includes a ceramic 4-pad rigid race disc with a heat-treated chrome-moly hub for strength and durability under extreme load. The lightweight rigid design delivers quicker shifts and improved heat tolerance, with harsher engagement and increased gear rattle expected in race-only use. ACT’s patented Monoloc release mechanism is included to provide uniform bearing load, improved alignment, and extended release mechanism life.
