The IDoing head unit is a full plug and play solution that features a 9" display. It is a great way to add Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to any 2008-2014 Subaru WRX/STI. Apple Carplay and Android Auto are also now made wireless! This is the only unit on the market currently that will include everything necessary for the installation (it even includes necessary tools)! 

All OEM features are retained such as the steering wheel controls and backup camera (if applicable). 

The head unit comes with the Google Play Store pre-downloaded so apps like YouTube, Clash of Clans, Amazon Prime Video are available to be played/watched on the head unit.

There are tons of audio settings to mess around with and the head unit is compatible with aftermarket subwoofers, speakers, amplifiers, etc. An IDoing head unit is recommended for all Subaru's with aftermarket audio upgrades because the OEM radio is not built to handle the improved performance. Good Update for the Car

Fits as described. Android auto is a little buggy at times, but all in all, it is a great purchase. The backup camera has some difficulty with installation, so I haven't hooked it up yet. The unit itself has a 4G antenna but I can't figure out how to work it. Don't let that steer you though. The Android auto works without connection and the unit itself has Wi-Fi so if you're close to your house or have a Hotspot on your phone, you can connect. The unit has a little difficulty with setting the time and keeping it that way so when the lights are supposed to come on, they don't. That's something to watch out for. These are all small things to complain about, nothing worth getting rid of a star over.

2013 WRX iDoing Head Unit - Must Buy

I previously had a Kenwood CarPlay head unit. Had some issues with their subpar software and some distortion. Sent it back and got the iDoing head unit, absolutely fantastic buy. Not only is it plug-and-play, it also has native steering wheel controls. Really modernized my older WRX interior. Works great, software is a bit tricky because there are so many options but after a few days of figuring it out I think I have it down. Phenomenal piece of hardware and worth every penny.
