The IDoing head unit is a full plug and play solution that features a 9" display. It is a great way to add Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to any 2015-2021 Subaru WRX/STI. Apple Carplay and Android Auto are also now made wireless! This is the only unit on the market currently that will include everything necessary for the installation (it even includes necessary tools)! 

All OEM features are retained such as the steering wheel controls and backup camera. 2015 Subaru WRX and STI owners can now project their backup camera onto the radio screen instead of the top instrument panel display with the included harness! 

The head unit comes with the Google Play Store pre-downloaded so apps like YouTube, Clash of Clans, Amazon Prime Video are available to be played/watched on the head unit.

There are tons of audio settings to mess around with and the head unit is compatible with aftermarket subwoofers, speakers, amplifiers, etc. An IDoing head unit is recommended for all Subaru's with aftermarket audio upgrades because the OEM radio is not built to handle the improved performance. Best upgrade

This is the perfect replacement and upgrade for the stock radio, especially if you have the one that has the malfunctioning screen. The screen is so much nicer than the stock radio, easy to use, and fairly simple to install. The wiring diagrams that come with the unit are not the best, but everything is there you need, and the unit slides right into place without issue. Two little notes: 1. transplant the black starlink box from the stock unit onto the new unit, it's quick and easy. 2. the review camera plugs into the upper right corner (above where the white cords plug in while looking at the back of the unit) with the supplied adaptor cable. Also, there are two wires that do not have a connection on the new unit, but it works perfectly without them. Use one of the supplied foam blocks to push the unit into place, and it'll take about an hour and a half to complete with project, but well worth the time. I put this in a 2020 WRX premium, using the appropriate unit.

So far so good! More like great!

This head unit is worth every dollar. Wireless CarPlay. Mic works far better than stock WRX. Screen is huge! Touch screen works. Easy set up for steer wheel controls. And so much more I haven’t gotten to learn after a week. Install wasn’t bad - 8 out of 10 for easiness.

We’ll see how it holds up.
